Seeing your development updates, I thought that this was gonna be a fun cute game that's all sunshine and rainbows. Now I have to try to sleep knowing I couldn't save those adorable pigs.

Overall, the game was great and it took me back to my childhood where I had to try to keep 100 Pikmin alive (which didn't happen most of the time).

you checked off all of my original ideas for  the game:

-game that looks innocent but isn't at makes you feel bad

-I got inspiration from those little big planet levels where you were split into a ton of mini-sackboys and had to keep them alive, but idea is the same as pikmin from what I know about the game

Love the art style - the pigs, menu screen and spikes all look great.

Because the barrels were so small they looked a bit like tin cans to me.

Found it very hard to keep all my pigs alive and sometimes they would end up off the bottom of the screen. I'd like it if it was possible to save all the pigs (maybe it is and I'll just bad at the game!)

I couldn't work out how to exit the credits screen so had to Alt+F4.

The sound effects and visuals for my pigs getting caught in one of the saw blades were very effective and made me cringe first time it happened.

ahh yes that juicy, crunchy sound of the pigs popping open

(Also there was an arrow that sent you back to the main menu but it may have been a bit to dark to see, I'll change it probably)

I have to say that I was confused by what to do at the start. The pigs are just sitting there and I half expected them to be enemies. Grabbed the bait and the camera panned to their deaths. You could free the pigs at the start to show they are following the bait. I like the idea of the game but the execution needs some work especially with the auto scrolling camera. Often times I would be way ahead and just idling around for the camera to hurry up. In my opinion the game would be better with no auto scrolling camera. Another way to force the player around the map should be explored. The controls I feel need to be mouse or keyboard alone with what actions are here. You have a very nice looking game though. I like your effects and the pigs movement animation.

yeah I was planning to add most of those features but I didn't have time sadly, like although I should have focused on making a tutorial I didn't and couldn't properly playtest the game before releasing it

It took me three tries to get 2 of my piggy brethren out. My only regret is I couldn't save them all. Anyway its a cool game and I like the concept. Something else that was good to stood out was the sound. The splattering sound was really good. One thought I had while playing though, was the level is quite long, which is fine, but is made a little tedious by the fact it is an auto scroller. It might be more fun if you could move ahead, but you could still be being chased by something requiring you to still act fast but allowing you to move ahead if you wanted to. Just a thought, I did enjoy it :)

moo. good game. cow like

yes, sadly not cow though😔
